GIRLS 3000

GIRLS GALLERY exhibitions are both ambitious and DIY, erring on the side of the maximalist, the over-the-top, the wacky, weird, glamorous, too-much side of life. The aim is to produce shows that are surprising, unexpected and inventive, incubating the talents of emerging artists while giving established artists the opportunity to experiment and play.

 
GIRLS 3000, a collaboration with Everard Read, is GIRLS with the volume turned up. The works meditate on femininity at the edge of femininity: its contradictions, excesses, slippages – its mess.
